in the evening of 6th the pain in her back was so bad she did not know what to do to elevate the pain and I phoned the the 111 service only to get what I would discribe as a trainee box ticker, as they would ask questions and then come back and ask have I ask this question time and time again then they put us on hold then came back and started to ask the questions again at this point I interviene and ask to speak with their manager, to who I made the point had my wife needed urgent treatment she could be dead now as at that point we had been on the phone for 20 minutes, their reply was you should have dial 999 then, the reason for dialing 111 was to find out if she needed to go to hospital, they told me the was only one more question to ask, my reply, then ask the question they stated they could not ask the question as it needed the clinition to ask the question at this point I told them not to bother and I would take my wife to A&E.

I appreciate that the hospital was busy but I feel that patients should always be treated with dignity and respect and was disgusted with how my dad was looked after.

I rung the 111 service around 9pm on the 6/10/17 for my wife who had been suffering from a chest infection that was affecting her back, that her doctor had treated with antibiotics on the 4/10/17.
